Buratai says "Boko Haram will remain technically defeated"

Lt. General Tukur Buratai after speaking in the Yobe state capital,Damaturu following a closed door meeting with the Governor of the state, Ibrahim Gaidam made a statement that:
'They will continue to remain technically defeated and they will never be as strong as they were previously'.






He also visited the 159 battalions in Geidam and also the military base in Kanamma,the Nigeria/Niger border where he urged the soldiers to put an end to the ongoing terrorism and clear out the remnants of Boko Haram insurgents.

He also urged them to be Law abiding and respect rules of engagement as the military hierarchy will not take their welfare issues lightly.




He then assured them that his administration will continue to rotate soldiers and only one soldier wouldn't be stuck in war front forever.
